So I'm going shopping with my mother and brother when of course we get in an argument. Well if you know me personally then you'll understand that sometimes my comebacks can be either harsh or funny and sometimes both. Any way my brother thinks he's being funny and all male dominace- which really pisses me off- and says "Well you start these arguements and I finish them." Yeah. So I replied without a second thought is, "The only thing you finish is a four course meal." He was not happy but my mom was roaring on the other side of me.
I got to thinking after that(rare I know) and began wondering what makes a good insult? And I came up with three things.
1)Timing = Timing is everything sometimes insults take time to play out you just need to wait for the perfect opportunity don't hesitate- which brings us to ...
2)Hesitation = Hesitating and missing your que could make your insult weak and no longer giving it any power insults have over people. No one wants to look stupid when they already look like an ass.
3)Careful thought = DON'T EVER GO IN WITH A LAME INSULT. Put careful thought into your insults, personalize them with your own little thing.
I know you probably don't care and you might be thinking "why would I want to be mean or a jerk it's so juvinle." But when you get stuck in an arguement and your peeved you might not want to play nice. But remember you want an insult with just enough power to make them back off not to harsh because if they are to harsh then you are no better then the other ass.
